Destination Anywhere
Sometimes the best things are things you can't explain. -Sandra Bullock

I'm back! Everyone get happy. Miranda is BACK. Unfortunately, everything I've worked on has not been updated. Sorry. I just moved out of my mom's house and am currently in the process of getting a job, trying to graduate, and moving out of my friend's house into my own. SO, I'm a little busy. But I swear I won't forget you. I promise. I'll come back again.
Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day.

Take note. This site will be accessible as both www.threethousandmiles.tk and www.threethousandmiles.hitart.com. If you have no tolerance for pop-ups, go to the second one. I am only keeping the first because it shows me a traffic report, as in saying what countries' people have been through. I like that because, I'm not going to lie, it makes me feel special. But, no more pop-ups! Everyone get excited.

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Miranda who started writing a story called Destination Anywhere. That girl promised that she wouldn't start something new until DA was finished. That same girl lied.
One day I was reading through a song book when I came across Elton John's Your Song. One of the lyrics stuck out. The one about green or blue eyes. All of the sudden, an idea for a story came into my head and I started writing.
I call it Your Song. It is basically my "leftover" story. Anything I don't have a place for in Destination Anywhere, I write into Your Song. Anything I think of randomly or have always wanted in a story, I incorporate into this. I have no set number of chapters, nor a plot. I just write, and it comes out like life. Sporadic and odd. Things just happen, and there is no climax. Ups and downs, side to side, frontwards, backwards. Any which way life goes, the story goes.
So, the link is at the bottom of the page. I won't give up on DA, but it is taking a kind of... detour. I don't really know what to do with it, so I'm just taking a little break. Not a hiatus, a break. I don't like the word hiatus. It's too... permanent.
I'll update soon! Either Your Song or Destination Anywhere. Forgive me!

Hello, my adoring fans. I have re-done the site, changing some things around and adding others. I had originally re-done only the first page (this one), but my computer crashed and my work was lost. Since only the first and second chapters are up, and they are in New Mexico in the first, I'd put up a pic of NM. I figured that it fit.
With the re-arranging of things, I just organized the pages at the bottom. Nothing's too out of whack, but I think it looks better. No book updates today. Sorry, folks. I'll update soon!

I'm updating shortly to say that I added Forums. It won't be busy, but if you have questions and you don't feel like email, go ahead and ask.
The third chapter is progressing slowly. Forgive me. I'm aiming for end of March, but it might end up coming up in mid-April. Gotta go work on that for all of you. Have a great day and enjoy the forums!

Alright, my many adoring fans, I have an update! Along with a new chapter and an added page.
Let's start with the second. I added a new page to the website called "Quotes", which is a very self-explanatory name. In this page, I've added quotes and lyrics that tie in with Destination Anywhere. I don't know where I got the idea, but I'm glad I got it.
Back to the first thing, a new chapter! The second chapter is now up, titled I Woke Up In A Car. That's self-explanatory too, but it's an even better chapter than the first. Well, at least that's what I think about it. Anyway, enjoy.

I thought I'd update just to say that I've added an Author page. This can be found at the bottom of the page.
It's all about me, so if you don't like me, I wouldn't read it. That's all that's new today.
Except news on the second chapter. So far, I have fourteen pages written, and since the first is twenty, I'm aiming for about the same. I've hit some kind of creative nerve, and I'm milking it for all it's worth.
Let's cross our fingers and pray that something good comes out of it.

Hey, everyone. This is the new site for Destination Anywhere. I'm majorly excited about it.
The fact is that I haven't really written much on the second chapter. I'm hoping some kind of inspiration with occur and I'll suddenly write three 20-page chapters. But until then, the writing process is progressing slowly. Bear with me.
For now, the first chapter, Into the Sun, is up and ready to read. Hope you enjoy it.
